At Divyuti, our main aim is to showcase the rich artisanal heritage of India. We offer functional, handcrafted items for your home and you. Our products are sensibly priced so that the artisan neither has to forgoe the quality of his art nor his livelihood.

Why We Do It?

Since our inception, we have a dual focus. First, we have a bird's eye regarding superior quality offerings and reasonable pricing for our clientele. Further, we have and will continue to only work with grass root level artisans such that the maximum benefit of your purchases from Divyuti goes to them.

What's In The Name?

Our brand name "Divyuti" is an amalgamation of two Sanskrit words - Divya and Vyuti.

In Sanskrit, the word "Divya" means divine and the word "Vyuti" means craft or weave. Literally, the meaning of our brand name is "Divine Crafts" which we think truly represents the rich artisanal heritage of India.

The idea behind using "Divyuti" as our brand name stems from wanting to include something deeply personal to us. "Divya" is not just a word for us, but it is the name of a person who impacted us deeply and dearly.

Honorary Founder and Guiding Force

Dr. Divya Nallapati was a loving sister, a caring daughter and much more to her family and friends. While fighting a deadly disease, she found her passion in traveling around the country, exploring Indian handloom and handicrafts and helping artisans in whatever way that she could. This passion turned into her dream of showcasing the myriad of beautiful crafts that India holds to the world. However, life had other plans.

It is now our dream to fulfill this wish of hers, which is the foundation of Divyuti.
